REGULAR MEETING, TUESDAY, March 5, 2019 6:00 pm CROW WING TOWN HALL
Board Members Present: Chairman Greg Smith, Supervisor Doug Kern, Treasurer Sue Kern and Clerk Duane Ruona
Greg called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm and the pledge to the flag was recited.
There were no gopher bounties.
Gerry Schuety asked if the tires, mattress and carpet in the garage should be taken to the landfill. The board instructed
Gerry to take care of it.
The Board audited the receipts and disbursements for 2018 and selected several items at random to examine the deposits,
checks and related documents. There were no irregularities found. Greg made a motion to accept the 2018 Board of Audit form
as presented. Doug seconded, motion passed. The 2018 Board of Audit form was signed and will be posted for the public.
Under unfinished business there have been no changes on any of the current property violations.
Under Public Comments a resident noted that snow plowing is going okay.
Treasurer's report and claims were reviewed and approved.
The Annual Meeting Agenda was reviewed and discussed. After discussion and review of the recent Brainerd Fire Service
2020 assessment, Doug made a motion to increase the 2020 Fire Levy from $57,000 to $60,000. Greg seconded, motion passed.
Greg made a motion to approve the 2019 Annual Meeting Agenda. Doug seconded, motion passed.
Greg made a motion to appoint Randy Powers and Linda Schuety to serve on the Board of Canvas following the March 12, 2019
election. Doug seconded, motion passed.
A motion was made by Greg to approve the February 26, 2019 minutes, seconded by Doug. Motion passed.
