Greg called the meeting to order at 6:00pm
and the pledge to the flag was recited.
There were
no updates regarding the land conveyance from MNDoT. Greg spoke with Brett Stark
today who said he would check in where things are at.
The
county sent a letter stating that the property owned by the estate of Diane Wakefield
at 6818 Wells Avenue is scheduled to be cleaned up this spring.
Dave gave
the road report. There were no recent calls
or complaints regarding snow removal after this last snowfall. He also
attended a county meeting regarding road maintenance and shared some of the things he learned
about how they monitor and maintain roads. It
was brought up for consideration if the township wants to charge utility companies
for permits when doing work in the township. Dave
also spoke to Ron Hall at the meeting asking if the county is considering taking over 50th. He said that our letter, and St. Mathis’s
township letter were received and the matter would be reviewed.
Tri-City Paving sent a response to Dave after
receiving the letter from the board regarding the sheepsfoot compactor damage on the roads. They stated they would repair the damage in
the spring. The issue will be revisited
in the spring by the board to explore options as to how they want the road work
to be redone.
Payroll and
claims were examined by the supervisors and approved for payment.
The minutes
from the January 12 meeting were reviewed.
Dave made a motion to accept the minutes, Mark seconded it.
Motion passed.
