Spring Road Tour Meeting
The Spring Road Tour was conducted by Dave Schultz, Mark Platta, Greg Smith
and Sue Kern on Saturday morning (8am-Noon) on April 18, 2015 and reads as follows:
There were a number of properties that still need to clean up their property
but also many who have started to clean up and are making progress.
Of note, Rob Anthony's still has trailers but has improved a lot.
Apparently, Kurt Engholm has left a travel trailer there with lots of "plastics" which are piled up.
The following are various properties that will need a letter sent
to them:
#10220 on Robin's Street. They need a letter requesting that debris/brush
be cleaned up.
#10109 on Robin's Street. They need a letter requesting that the branches
need to cleared away out of the ditch.
#6609 on Quail with the address of Wilson School Avenue. They
need a letter for ditch clean up of branches.
# _____________ on the corner of Wilson School Avenue and Brandon Way.
They need a letter for branches to be cleaned up.
#6188 on 50th Avenue. They need a letter to fix the roadway along
the road as they have been plowing their driveway across the road and piling up debris in the ditch across from their house.
#8328 in a cul de sac... They need a letter
to ask them to remove the steel posts on the right away along the property edge. (Someone could easily hit them with
their vehicle or could be a hindrance for the plow.)
#5372 and #5318 (Jamie Penoyers) share a driveway. There is
a problem with the soft sand in the driveway and it coming out onto the road which can be a hazard for others. The board
will consider having Dale fix it and then send them the bill.
Of note, Sophie's Way is dry this year as there has not been enough
rain. They usually have significant water problems.
As far as the just the roads themselves:
On the corner of Brandon Way and Hurron, it needs repair along
the edge of the road due to wearing away from 4 wheeler use in that spot.
At the intersection of Arielle Drive and Sweet Road, the seam between the
two sides needs repair.
At the corner of Greenwood Street and Stonewood Court, the corner needs
to be patched.
On the entry corner to Estate Circle near Wild Rice Depot, there are pot
holes on the edge of the road which need to be repaired.
There are roads that will need a fresh covering and some that need to be
redone and they are noted in Dave Schultz's book/file and they will be part of our future street improvement project.
Also of note, there was a discussion about the possible placement of the
water well to be drilled, just south of the electrical box before reaching the bushes there. Greg Smith indicated
he has talked with MN Dot since the last meeting.
Meeting adjourned at Noon.
