Regular Meeting March 4, 2014
Crow Wing Town Hall
6:00 p.m.
Board Members Present:
Chairman Greg Smith, Supervisor Mark Platta, Clerk Virginia Rogers and Treasurer Susan Goodew.
Greg called the
meeting to order and the pledge to the flag was recited.
A notice for the
sale of tax-forfeit property was received from the county. The parcel is an out lot of the Bear Run plat. It was determined
that there is no objection to the sale, but it should be noted that the lot is not buildable.
Mark shared information
from the Fire Advisory Board meeting. Mark made a motion to accept the proposed fire contract with the payment dates changed
to July 1 and December 1. The motion was seconded by Greg and passed unanimously.
Susie gave the treasurer’s
report and claims were approved and paid.
The following levy
will be requested at the annual meeting: General Fund $55,000, Planning and Zoning,
$15,000, Fire Fund $50,000 and Road and Bridge $130,000.
Greg made a motion
to approve the minutes of the February 18th and February 25th meetings as written. The motion was seconded
by Mark and passed unanimously.

by general consent at 7:50 p.m.
