Board Members Present: Chairman Greg Smith, Supervisors
Mark Platta and Dave Schultz, Clerk Virginia Rogers and Treasurer Susan Goodew.
Greg called
the meeting to order and the pledge to the flag was recited.
The Anthony cleanup continues with some delays due to the
cold temperatures.
Greg shared information from the planning commission meeting.
The commission has requested some funding to update the comprehensive plan and future land use map. Greg made a motion to
allocate up to $2000 to fund the project. The motion was seconded by Mark and passed unanimously. Other information from the
planning commission was reviewed including an analysis of cost versus tax dollars generated from plats with roads that end
in a cul de sac. Discussion followed. No motions were made. There was also discussion concerning possible additions to the
township developer’s agreement in order to facilitate township maintenance prior to taking over the roads.
Susie gave the treasurer’s report. It was discovered
that the bank transferred funds from the wrong money market account to the checking account, thereby reducing the amount of
funds in our road & bridge money market and increasing the amount in the regular money market account. Susie will make
sure that they correct that transfer.
Dave made a motion to appoint Susie Goodew as head judge
for the township election. The motion was second by Mark and passed unanimously. Greg made a motion to appoint Darlene Jillson
and Nick Reindl as the other judges. The motion was seconded by Mark. He amended
his motion to include include June Hunter and Mark accepted the amendment. The motion passed unanimously.
Greg made a motion to approve the minutes as written. The
motion was seconded by Dave and passed unanimously. The Budget Meeting and Audit Meeting will be held on February 4th
at 5:30 p.m.
