Regular Meeting                          

January 8, 2013      

Crow Wing Town Hall               6:00 p.m.

Board Members Present:  Chairman Mark Platta, Supervisors Greg Smith and Dave Schultz, Clerk Virginia Rogers and Treasurer Susan Goodew.

Mark called the meeting to order and the pledge to the flag was recited.

Mark has been working on the cemetery records. He and Ginny will meet to convert the old Block, Lot and Site numbers and letters into the new system.

Susie gave the treasurer’s report and claims were approved and paid.

Dave gave the road report.  Quite a few signs in the township have been hit and bent or broken.

Greg made a motion to spend $60 to send Dave to a one-day LTAP training event which will be held in Brainerd.  The motion was seconded by Mark and passed unanimously.

The 2013 Budget was considered. It was decided that the board would like to look back over past years to look for trends before setting the budget. The budget will be set at the next meeting and the Audit and Budget Meeting will be part of the February 12^th meeting.

Greg made a motion to approve the December 18 minutes. The motion was seconded by Dave and passed unanimously.

Mark made a motion to appoint the following election judges for the March 12^th township election: Virginia Rogers Head Judge, Sharon Schultz, Karen Rouna and Kathleen Lordbock with Nick Reindl and Chuck Nelson as alternates if any are unable serve. The motion was seconded by Greg and passed with Dave abstaining.

Correspondence was reviewed and the meeting adjourned by general consent at 8:00 p.m.
