Regular Meeting March 6, 2018 6:00pm Crow Wing Town Hall

Board Members Present: Chairman Greg Smith, Supervisor Doug Kern, Treasurer Sue Kern, Clerk Duane Ruona.

Greg called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM and the pledge to the flag was recited.

There were no gopher bounties.

Under unfinished business, Doug received a call from Lonette Martin asking for another 2-3 weeks to clean up their property because of the heavy snow that fell recently. There has been no new information on the Jillson, Engholm, Tomberlin, Dillon and Copa violations.

Treasurer's report and claims were reviewed and approved.

Road issues were discussed. There have been calls about snowplowing by the contractor. Complaints about cul-de-sacs not being plowed to the edge and winging back the road shoulders have been received. The maintenance contract expires this spring and will be rebid.

There was discussion about the article in the current Township Insider Magazine about The Annual Town Meeting. The article included procedures and information about donations to various entities.

The MAT Spring Short Course is at Breezy Point on March 26, 2018. Greg made a motion to approve attendance at the meeting for the clerk, treasurer and supervisors. Doug seconded, motion passed.

Under communications, a notice was received about the sale of three parcels of tax forfeit lands in the township. There were no township concerns about selling the parcels. Donation requests from Lakes Area Pregnancy Support Center, Crow Wing County Fairboard, American Legion School Safety Camp, and the St. Mathias Park Board were reviewed. All will be presented at the Annual Meeting.

Greg made a motion to approve the minutes as written from February 27, 2018. Doug seconded, motion passed.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:45 PM.
